Le Cap to Capri
WHY THIS JOURNEYOne chef, two tables, and the Mediterranean in its quietest, warmest month.
Chef Yoric Tièche runs Le Cap, the Michelin-starred dining room at the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat. On this single sailing of Four Seasons I, he comes aboard as Chef-in-Residence. So we begin at his table on land, then set sail with him: a tasting menu at Sedna, a takeover of another venue on board, and a welcome reception he hosts himself.
October is the Riviera after the crowds have gone home. The sea is still warm, the harbors are yours, and Capri finally has room to breathe. This is written for a couple who want to be looked after completely and never feel managed.

CHEF-IN-RESIDENCE THE JOURNEYDay by day
SEPT 30 – OCT 2 • SAINT-JEAN-CAP-FERRATArrive slowly. The Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat.
A private car meets you at Nice and takes you around the bay to the tip of the peninsula. The first day has nothing in it on purpose: the pool cut into the rocks, a long lunch, an early night.
On the second evening, dinner at Le Cap, Chef Tièche's own dining room. On the third, a morning in Èze or Villefranche with a private guide, or nothing at all. Your choice, made the morning of.
OCT 6 – 7 • AT SEA, THEN BONIFACIO, CORSICA A day with nowhere to be.
The sea day is the heart of the residency: Chef Tièche's tasting menu at Sedna with paired wines. The marina at the stern opens to the water for swimming and paddling.
Then Bonifacio, the old Genoese town on white limestone cliffs at the southern tip of Corsica. Arrive by water to see it properly; the town itself is best on foot, late in the afternoon.
OCT 3 - 5, 2027 • LA CIOTAT, CANNES Aboard Four Seasons I.
A late checkout, then a short transfer to the yacht in Nice. Ninety-five suites and a near one-to-one ratio of crew to guests; it feels far closer to a private yacht than a ship.
La Ciotat is the small harbor between Marseille and Toulon where the Lumière brothers filmed the first commercial motion picture. Cannes follows, out of festival season and pleasantly unhurried, with Le Suquet and the Croisette to wander.
OCT 8 - 9 • CAPRI Capri, after the day-trippers leave.
Most people see Capri in a crowded afternoon. The point here is the evening and the early morning: the Faraglioni from a private boat, the Piazzetta once the ferries have gone, and Anacapri before anyone else is up.
A private boat and guide are held for you. If the sea is rough, the plan moves to the island's footpaths and a long lunch in the garden at one of the secret culinary gems in the region.
OCT 10 - 12 • SALERNO TO RAVELLO Two nights above the coast.
You step off in Salerno, and a car takes you up the cliffs to Ravello, a thousand feet above the Amalfi Coast and well away from its traffic.
Two nights at Hotel Caruso, a Belmond hotel, with nothing scheduled. On the final morning, a private transfer to Naples for your return flight, timed with a generous buffer.

WHAT WE'VE ALREADY HANDLED The parts you'll never have to think about
Thirty years of planning around founders and their families teaches you where trips actually go wrong. It's rarely the hotel. It's the handoffs between them.
A buffer day, built in
You land three nights before sailing. A delayed flight or lost bag never costs you the yacht.
One set of preferences, shared everywhere
Dietary needs, pillow, wine, the way you take your coffee. Sent once to all three properties and the yacht before you arrive.
Everything in one place
Confirmations, contacts, and timings in a single document on your phone and printed on request.
Every transfer, timed

A “Plan B” for the water
Tender ports and boat days depend on the sea. Each has a land alternative already arranged, not improvised on the day
